What is a recipe for a Somali food Xalwo or Xalwad?

I’m we do a plot where we need a recipe from Somalia which has a small arrange of meaning. we found which during Somalian weddings, xalwo is made. This sounds unequivocally fantastic (verryyyy sweet) as well as we consider my category would unequivocally suffer eating this. But, we haven’t been means to find a recipe for this anywhere upon google. If we have a recipe for xalwo or xalwad (same thing?) or if we have an additional critical food recipe in Somalia, we would severely conclude it. Thanks!

    Salaam.

Somali xalwa (halwa) doesn’t have a corn flour ingredient. we do not know where a sister got which from. Xalwo is done from:

    1. Sugar
    2. Water
    3. Corn starch (that is what makes it thick)
    4. Food Colouring
    5. Oil/Ghee (Made from unsalted butter)
    6. Hayl as well as nutmeg (Joos)
    7. Nuts or sesame seeds (Optional)
